This week, Palisades High was attacked with homophobic, anti-Semitic, and racist graffiti. Two students celebrated the KKK and littered the campus with derogatory marks.
I went to high school at Pali, so this hits close to home and fills me with fury and sadness. In the wake of the event, students came together to decorate the campus with chalk messages of solidarity, acceptance, and love.
I applaud them for the peaceful protest they held and for rallying against this hate. Love to the Gay Straight Alliance group.
