Nourish Events LA is LA’s new creative symposium created by Chelsea, Lorena, and Helen, three visionaries with a commitment to the creative.
Last week I went to their gathering at Tom’s on Abbott Kinney, where I’ll also be hosting a Honey Girl surfboard giveaway next month (more info to come). I was welcomed with espresso, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a great prose poem by Lyn Hejinian to discuss in a non-academic saloon of fellow word lovers.
In the literal sense, this group lives up to their name as they truly do feed and cherish the soul and the intellect. Over the next few months they’ll be hosting workshops on photography, scrapbooking, and calligraphy among others.
